SubQuery now fully supports both Sapphire and Emerald on Oasis Network! Developers can harness SubQuery’s robust indexing features for seamless on-chain data management, streamlining development and fostering quick iterations instead of creating their own indexing software.

Emerald was launched on the Oasis Network Mainnet with over 30 node operators. It introduced a range of new features and capabilities to the Oasis Network, including seamless integration with EVM-based DApps and the initiation of DeFi.

On the other hand, Sapphire is the first and only confidential EVM that empowers Web3 with Smart Privacy. The EVM provides developers with the flexibility to build on-chain dApps based on smart contracts that can be 100% confidential, 100% public, or anywhere in between.

Now, developers in Oasis Network can take advantage of SubQuery’s versatile, high-speed, open, and decentralised data indexing solution, equipping blockchain developers with essential tools for efficiently managing and querying on-chain data for their protocols and applications.

SubQuery simplifies the intricacies of backend operations, providing developers with a tailor-made API. This enables them to focus on product development and enhancing user experiences, without the need to allocate resources towards constructing their indexing solutions.

“We are thrilled to welcome this new multi-chain indexer to our ecosystem. With SubQuery, developers can now leverage their indexer to help create groundbreaking applications within our ecosystem and help expand Web 3 and Privacy beyond early adopters into mass-market adoption.”

— William Wendt, Ecosystem Growth Manager, Oasis Protocol Foundation

We’re always striving to provide developers with the most comprehensive and efficient indexing experience possible, including the open-source SDK, tools, documentation, and developer support that the SubQuery ecosystem provides. Oasis Network is also supported in SubQuery’s enterprise level managed service, which provides enterprise-level infrastructure hosting and handles hundreds of millions of requests each day.

Furthermore, with the upcoming launch of the SubQuery Network, we are poised to provide Oasis Network developers with yet another decentralised indexing solution.

“We are pleased to announce the integration of SubQuery’s data indexing solution into Oasis Network. Using our advanced data indexer, developers on Oasis Network gain unparalleled access to blockchain insights, streamlining user experiences and benefiting from SubQuery’s fast, flexible, and open indexing solution to help them scale.”

— Sam Zou, Founder and CEO of SubQuery

Why Use SubQuery?

SubQuery makes it easy to build a custom API for your dApp or smart contracts in minutes, providing clean indexed data to any service. The excellent SubQuery developer experience is flexible, with the ability to make external API calls or import external libraries from within your mapping functions, and better controls to run your projects in your own infrastructure with automated DOS (denial of service) mitigation controls. Additionally, we have no plans to sunset our managed service.

SubQuery is designed to be fast, this adds up when you’re indexing millions of ledgers, and is something to consider when choosing your indexer. SubQuery achieves this by using multi-threading and optimisation of the store to reduce costly database writes. With faster sync times, developers can iterate faster and deliver features to market quicker.
