We’re thrilled to announce our full support for Kakarot, a project bringing provable EVM to every L2, L1 and bridges, starting with Starknet L2 (currently in testnet)

SubQuery’s indexing capabilities empower developers on Kakarot to efficiently manage and query on-chain data, expediting development processes and facilitating rapid iterations, advancing the goal of onboarding the next billion users to the blockchain.

With SubQuery, developers on Kakarot gain access to a high-speed, decentralised data indexing solution that simplifies the process of managing on-chain data. Subquery’s tailor-made API eliminates the need to build custom indexing solutions, allowing developers to focus on what matters most — building products and enhancing user experiences.

“We are excited to welcome the SubQuery team into Kakarot. Developers building on Kakarot Starknet can now take advantage of SubQuery’s decentralised, open-source, and lightning-fast data indexer to help them build more efficiently.”

— Michael Tiew, Head of Ecosystem, Kakarot

SubQuery’s open-source SDK, tools, and extensive documentation offer a comprehensive indexing experience. Developers also benefit from our enterprise-level managed service, which hosts infrastructure capable of handling hundreds of millions of daily requests.

“We’re thrilled to announce our support for Kakarot! Our advanced data indexing technology, paired with Kakarot’s innovation, empowers developers to build transformative Web3 applications. Let’s bring Web3 to the mainstream together!”

— James Bayly, Co-Founder & COO of SubQuery

Why Use SubQuery?

SubQuery simplifies the creation of custom APIs for dApps or smart contracts in minutes, providing clean indexed data for any service. The platform is flexible, allowing external API calls and imported libraries, while also offering robust DOS (denial of service) mitigation controls. With SubQuery, developers have the option to run projects on personal infrastructure or rely on the managed service.

SubQuery is designed to be fast. By optimising the store with multi-threading and reducing costly database writes, SubQuery significantly reduces sync times. Faster syncing enables quicker iterations and faster delivery of features to market.
