SubQuery, the pioneer of fast, flexible, and scalable decentralised infrastructure, is proud to announce that the highly anticipated SubQuery Network mainnet has officially been launched. This milestone marks the culmination of rigorous development, testing, and community collaboration. The mainnet launch is a pivotal moment for us, as it brings to fruition our vision of creating a robust, decentralised and open network for web3.
After an extremely successful Public Sale, selling out of SubQuery’s native token (SQT) in less than 2 hours, we’ve been working hard to launch the SubQuery Network mainnet which is powered by SQT. We decided to launch on Base and after a seamless launch experience we are excited to have set up home in such a thriving and promising network.
What’s more, at 8am UTC today, the SQT Token was generated and became available on Bybit. Now anyone can purchase and immediately put their SQT to productive use on the SubQuery Network mainnet — for example by delegating to your favourite indexer or boosting your favourite project to earn rewards. Check out the guide on how to stake your tokens as a Delegator here.
As of right now, Indexers can index datasets from over 150 networks which are compatible with the SubQuery Network. This means developers building across EVM, Polkadot, Cosmos, Stellar, Algorand and more, can efficiently access and query data in a completely decentralised manner across all major chains. Better yet, a Consumer could advertise their specific requirements for data across multiple different chains and networks, and Indexers can accept the offer to index the required data into one dataset and provide a single endpoint for that Consumer to plug into their dApp.

The launch of the mainnet is an extremely proud moment we have been working towards for a very long time, however, in some ways it is just the beginning. The addition of RPCs will unlock another level of potential and the SubQuery Network will spearhead a web3 infrastructure revolution. With SubQuery, it’s not just about building for today, but architecting a decentralised, inclusive future.
